Ordinarily, this kind of steampunk bothers me. I find it unlikely that those living in the Victorian era would choose to use gears to decorate things. In most of their machinery they attempted to hide the inner workings in beautiful ways. However, as a non-canon, non-steampunk piece of gear-inspired jewelry, this is absolutely beautiful. I love the delicacy and intricacy and the almost magical lightness of the piece. What is holding the gears together? It must be love.

Whereas my girlfriend and I do not want a themed wedding, that is a very well-done, very fun cake. I wonder how edible it is.
